'Come to Real Madrid': Tottenham star Harry Kane sent begging messages over transfer

Kane picked up the Premier League player of the month for December and posted a picture of himself picking up the accolade on Twitter.

It caps off a dream 2017 for the Tottenham striker, who has beaten Alan Shearer’s calendar-year record for Premier League goals with 39.

That’s prompted Real Madrid to show interst in the Spurs frontman and now their supporters have taken to Twitter to beg him to join.

One wrote: “Harry Kane Please I want you Play for Real Madrid. i everday pray to my God I want you Please At Real Madrid.”

In reply to Kane’s tweet, one follower wrote: “The question is can he do it with his @realmadrid teammates.”

While a fellow fan added: “Enough already. @realmadriden calling.”

For some it was an opportunity to beg the England striker to move to Old Trafford with a handful of fans pleading with him to join Manchester United.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy has repeatedly insisted Kane is not for sale and he this week said “no player will leave the club who we intend to keep.”

Another said: “Harry! please come to Real Madrid. Halla Madrid.”

Boss Mauricio Pochettino has backed up the Spurs owner and said: “That is normal. No-one wants to sell their best players. Daniel is the same, he wants to win like us.

“For me it is normal situation because I don’t think anyone expected Daniel Levy to say we are going to sell.”
