Kate Middleton news: Pregnant Duchess conceals baby bump at Remembrance Sunday service

Kate Middleton, 35, paid her respect to fallen soldiers at the service Sunday morning with the Queen and Sophie, Countess of Wessex.

The Duchess concealed her baby bump in a navy coat with two rows of large gold buttons up the front.

She wore a matching-coloured hat which featured a loop design and accessorised with a pair of intricate gold and pearl earrings.

Kate’s hair was pulled up into a loose up do which gave it a bob-like appearance but allowed her hat to sit on her head on a tilt.

The expectant mum paid her respects on the balcony next to Sophie, the Countess of Wessex while Prince Charles led the ceremony.

The 68-year-old prince also laid a poppy wreath down on behalf of the Queen

Prince William and Prince Harry also played roles in the ceremony as politicians and veterans gathered for the two minutes silence.

Today was one of the first times the Queen has watched the ceremony from the balcony.

Her husband, Prince Philip, 96, retired from his royal duties earlier this year which could be the reason why.

The Telegraph reported an aide said the Duke has been determined to attend the ceremony and wished to be with his family, while the Queen chose to be alongside her husband.

A source added: “The Queen wishes to be alongside the Duke of Edinburgh and he will be in the balcony.”

Kate also did well to hide her baby bump at the Royal Festival of Remembrance yesterday

The event took place at the Royal Albert Hall in South Kensington, London.

Kate attended the event without Prince William who was instead present at the Wales V Australia rugby match.

The Duchess concealed her baby bump in a black velvet coat dress.
