The brand has a global track record of safety and service, having revolutionized the quality and standards of All-Inclusive around the world. We would never sacrifice our guests’ health or security and will continue to act with integrity for our customers.

The health and safety of our guests are of utmost priority across the entire Barceló Hotel Group portfolio of brands. We are dedicated to ensuring the security of our visitors and adhere to all legal regulations, including the purchasing and distribution of alcohol to our customers.

In fact, when it comes to the procurement of alcohol for our all of our all-inclusive resorts and urban hotels, Barceló Hotel Group adheres to strict international and local policies including serving only international and domestically known brands.

The policies that the brand adheres to in Mexico specifically, are not only regulated by the Government of Mexico but are also regulated by third parties, such as Check Safety First. LTD – which require meeting additional safety and hygiene standards.

Barceló Hotel Group is in the process of contacting all key accounts to offer reassurance that the brand was not involved in this incident or any other of this scale and that standards are being upheld across our portfolio to make certain that all of our guests are safe.
