“On a Friday, Richie trains, so usually I’ll take Ernie and Louis alongside to look at him. He finishes about 1.30pm, so all of us go for lunch – most likely one thing easy like rooster and salad. Afterward we’d take the boys for a swim and simply take pleasure in some household time collectively.

“As soon as we’re residence and the boys are fed, we get them each in mattress then I’ll make some dinner for us, maybe a rooster and pasta dish or a stew washed down with a glass of wine.

“On a Saturday, I like to go to the native markets – both the fruit and veg markets within the village or generally I’ll go to the antiques one. It’s good to take the boys and have a wander spherical. Within the afternoon, we go and watch Richie play rugby. Nicely, I say watch, however more often than not I’m chasing Ernie round, so I’m fortunate if I get to really see Richie in motion!

“Afterwards we’d pop over and see some associates then keep for dinner. It’s good to see different grown-ups for a chat!

“Sundays are spent collectively as a household. Over right here, every little thing closes on a Sunday, so generally we simply hang around at our home and spend time within the pool then go for a stroll. I grew up on a farm the place I’d be exterior greater than inside.

I need my boys to understand the good outside, too.

If we’re not chilling or on an journey of some form, we’d go and go to associates for lunch. Generally we are able to spend three hours consuming!

“Earlier than we had the boys, we had been all the time out and about doing one thing, however now we’re way more relaxed. So long as we’re doing one thing collectively, that’s all that issues.”
