'Is that fair?' Comedian ridicules Labour MP for saying THIS about Brexit voters

Andrew Hunter Murray asked the former Minister for Europe how he would describe those who voted for the UK to leave the European Union.

Appearing on The Mash Report on the BBC, he put it to Chris Bryant that Britain could go one step further and push for “world exit”.

He said: “Some people have likened people who voted for Brexit, to utter p*****. Is that a fair statement?”

Mr Bryant replied Brexit was like “cutting our throats”.

He said: “I wish we’d voted to Remain, I think it’s like we’re cutting our throats and as every day goes by there’s more evidence that the Brexiteers had absolutely no plan for Brexit whatsoever and  it’s a great big step into the dark and all the rest of it.”

But the comedian pushed again and said: “So utter p***** is language you wouldn’t use?”

Hunter Murray then jokingly added the UK could go for “Wexit”.

He said: “ is going to happen, but if we want to become truly independent, why don’t we go the whole hog with ‘Wexit’.

He said: “Now speaking as a representative of the younger generation, let me just ask older Leave voters one question.

“Why do you hate us? Was it fidget spinners? Was it the Kaiser Chiefs, was it the Star Wars prequels?

“We hate them too.”
