Leeds United vs Ipswich Town: David Prutton reveals Elland Road prediction

Leeds sit top of the Championship table after a stunning start to the season, winning five of their opening eight games under new boss Thomas Christiansen.

The Yorkshire outfit lost to Millwall in their last outing, but Prutton reckons his former club will benefit from the defeat.

Ipswich are only two points behind Leeds in the standings – with a game in hand – but believes Leeds will be too much for them at Elland Road.

Prutton told Sky Sports: “In a strange way Leeds losing last week may not have been too bad for them in the long run.

“I fancied them to win at Millwall but a defeat may have taken the pressure off a little bit.

“They made a lot of changes in the week against Burnley but still got a good result.

“So there won’t be an end to the feel-good factor at Elland Road, and they’ll have too much for Ipswich on Saturday.

“Leeds United to win 2-0.”
