The Suits actress is understood not to be filming for the television series, leading some to believe her visit could see Harry pop the highly anticipated question.

The loved-up pair are also said to staying at Prince Charles’ Scottish residence in Birkhall, less than eight miles from where the Queen is staying at Balmoral.

It is unclear if the actress has visited the Queen yet but a reported royal meeting could mark a major step in their relationship.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were spotted arriving in the UK yesterday ahead of the 20th anniversary of Diana’s death

An eyewitness saw the pair taking the Express train from Heathrow Airport on Tuesday just days before Prince Harry paid tribute his mother’s loving memory.

The source said: “The pair wore baseball caps and sat in the first class carriage, reading magazines and chatting quietly.

“[Meghan] was smiley and giddy looking.”

The couple travelled to Botswana three weeks ago on her 36th birthday to soak up the wildlife, and even took  a water safari on the Okavango Delta.

They then went to Livingstone in Zambia at the end of last week and finished their trip at Victoria Falls, one of the seven ‘natural wonders’ of the world.

Prince Harry was seen out in London yesterday at the White Garden in Kensington Palace paying tribute to his mother, Princess Diana’s loving memory, with his brother Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge.

Today marks 20 years since their mother Princess Diana’s death, but will Harry also use the date to mark a more happier memory – the announcement of his and Meghan’s engagement?

Many people have drawn similarities to the time Prince William proposed to the Duchess, Kate Middleton in Kenya.

As well as being the place where William proposed to Kate, its the destination the brothers and their father, Prince Charles, flew too after their mother, Princess Diana, died.

He has called it the place “where I feel more like myself than anywhere else in the world” and where he has an “intense sense of complete relaxation and normality”.

Friends of the pair have claimed the engagement is official.

A source told the Daily Star Sunday Prince Harry popped the question to the Suits actress while the couple were camping in Botswana.

They said the helicopter pilot prince flew Meghan out to the top secret site before proposing under the stars.

Rather than a ring, harry reportedly chose Zulu betrothal bracelets, an updated version of those currently worn by the couple as a symbol of love.

The source said: “The world is watching, so the royal red tape needs to be adhered to.

“Meghan won’t be landing at Heathrow with a giant rock on her finger.

“Harry’s told his friends he’s hoping to make the official announcement in September.

“The setting and the bracelets were just so special to Harry.”
